Position: Accountant
Erakor Island Resort is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to support the resort's financial operations. Reporting directly to the Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and assisting with financial reporting and business planning.

Key Responsibilities
•Maintain daily accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping.
•Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded.
•Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
•Process payroll and ensure statutory tax and VAT obligations are completed accurately and on time.
•Maintain the general ledger and strengthen internal financial controls.
•Work closely with operational teams to provide financial insights and support continuous process improvements.

Candidate Requirements
•A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
•Practical experience using Xero accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
•Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
•Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
•A high level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
