Organisation Description: 

Vanuatu Copra & Cocoa Exporters Ltd Buys copra & cocoa Locally throughout Vanuatu and Markets them Internationally through Export Overseas. VCCE also imports Quality Cement and steels that is much cheaper to local citizens of Vanuatu.

 Job Desctiption:

• Manage all accounting transactions & Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable & Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations

Selection Criteria:

• 3 years experience in accounting
• Ability and knowledge to work with Xero software & MYOB
• Strong analytical and accounting skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Ability to multi-task and work independently while meeting deadlines
• Flexibility to work overtime during month-end close and other peak times as needed
• Maturity to handle highly confidential data
• Team player, Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

 Salary: Attractive package  Depending on  Qualification and  experience
