Good Signal Services Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated an Accountant to join our team in Port Vila, Vanuatu. As an Accountant, you will work closely with the finance team to support various accounting tasks and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the field of accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions by processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and compliance with local tax regulations.
Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Help maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Newly graduated.
Previous internship or work experience in accounting is preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. French will be an advantage.
Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
