Geogas Vanuatu Limited is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Admin / Accounts Officer to become part of our team in Port Vila. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in accounting and office administration who can work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
The selected candidate will assist with financial operations and administrative support, including:
•Carrying out daily reconciliations involving sales records, bank transactions, and inventory.
•Managing accounts payable and receivable to ensure invoices and payments are processed correctly and on time.
•Recording and maintaining financial information using accounting software such as MYOB.
•Organizing and maintaining financial files, records, and documentation efficiently.
•Supporting office administration through data entry, scheduling, communication, and other clerical tasks.
•Ensuring all financial procedures comply with company standards and relevant regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
•A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
•Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an accounting or administrative position.
•Hands-on experience with MYOB or similar accounting systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
•Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in financial work.
•Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities.
•Good written and spoken communication skills.
•Ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively within a team.
•A quick learning mindset and the ability to perform efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
