About the Role
Ratua Private Island Resort is looking for experienced artisans with expertise in traditional Indonesian craftsmanship. The successful candidate will contribute to preserving the resort's unique cultural identity by creating, restoring, and maintaining authentic handcrafted features throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, produce, and repair traditional Indonesian handcrafted items, including wood carvings, bamboo structures, furniture, and decorative pieces.
• Create authentic artisan products for guest villas, resort facilities, and cultural displays.
• Apply traditional Indonesian crafting methods to ensure high-quality and culturally accurate workmanship.
• Restore and maintain antique architectural features and handcrafted furnishings.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance on traditional crafting techniques to local team members when required.

Candidate Requirements
• Demonstrated experience in Indonesian traditional craftsmanship, including areas such as wood carving, bamboo construction, furniture making, or decorative arts.
• Strong understanding of traditional Indonesian materials, tools, and artisan techniques.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in traditional craft or artisan work.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality craftsmanship.
Employment Information
