Vanuatu Copra & Cocoa Exporters Ltd (VCCE) is the largest exporter of copra and cocoa in Vanuatu, sourcing directly from farmers across the provinces of Torba, Sanma, Penama, and Malampa. With over 22 years of operation, VCCE has built a strong presence with its head office in Santo, branches in Malekula and Port Vila, and over 10 sub-branches across the islands. The company also imports and distributes cement throughout Vanuatu.

Job Description:

VCCE is looking for a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to oversee operations across branch and out-port locations. The role involves managing stock, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring quality control, and supporting the General Manager in achieving business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all branch and out-port station operations.
Oversee stock control, moisture checks, and weekly reconciliations.
Liaise with farmers, agents, and suppliers to maintain consistent product flow.
Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
Monitor competitor activity and identify new business opportunities.
Resolve operational and personnel issues as needed.
Evaluate team performance and encourage a safe, efficient work environment.
Recommend operational improvements and cost-saving strategies.
Communicate regularly with the General Manager on key business matters.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Selection Criteria:

Age between 20–30 years.
Background in Accounting or Operations Management.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of the copra and cocoa industry.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Flexible with working hours and able to travel to island branches.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Valid driving licence required.
