Job Desctiption:
Review & enter received stock into the Sage System
Accurate invoice entry for stock and non-stock items
Working closely with the purchasing officer in creating codes for new products to ensure seamless integration into the inventory system.
Investigate any discrepancies or anomalies in stock levels, invoices, or product codes, and work with relevant teams to resolve these issues promptly.
Assist the Purchasing Officer and storeman in day-to-day tasks, including placing orders, tracking deliveries, and communicating with suppliers & internal teams
Gradually take on more responsibilities related to purchasing, with the potential to handle purchasing duties independently over time.
Generate and maintain reports related to stock levels, purchasing activities, and any identified discrepancies.
Selection Criteria:
Our ideal candidate:
One year plus of previous experience in same area is preferred
Driving licence is an added advantage
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
