Job Description
Iririki Island Resort & Spa is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join the Maintenance team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for carrying out a variety of carpentry and maintenance projects across the resort.

Key responsibilities include:
•Measuring work areas and preparing plans for carpentry projects.
•Estimating material requirements and arranging supplies.
•Conducting site inspections before and during projects.
•Constructing and installing timber structures, including roof frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud walls for both Natangura and Cappa buildings.
•Building and fitting cabinets, shelves, built-in furniture, drywall, and insulation.
•Installing doors, locks, hinges, handles, and other hardware.
•Working with approved clients, suppliers, and construction professionals as directed by the Project Manager.
•Interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and building specifications to ensure work meets required standards.

Selection Criteria
•2–5 years of professional carpentry experience.
•High school qualification or an equivalent certificate.
•Good written and spoken English communication skills.
•Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
•Sound knowledge of carpentry methods and construction techniques.
•Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
•Experience using both hand and power tools, including drills, chisels, sanders, and saws.
