Coral Quays Resort is a beachfront property located in Saint Michel, approximately 5km from Luganville. The resort features 18 seaside bungalows along with a popular restaurant and bar serving both international travelers and local guests.
Position Summary:
Coral Quays Resort is seeking a skilled and dependable Chef to become part of our dynamic kitchen team. Working together with three other chefs, the successful candidate will help prepare quality meals while maintaining excellent kitchen operations and food presentation standards.
This role is best suited for someone who is hardworking, organised, and passionate about cooking and hospitality. We enjoy exploring fresh menu ideas and creative dishes, so we are excited to welcome someone open to experimenting with new recipes and concepts.
Main duties include:
•Assisting in creating and improving menu options
•Supporting kitchen operations and workflow procedures
•Preparing and presenting meals to a high standard
•Following hygiene and food safety regulations
•Ensuring meals are delivered efficiently and on time
•Maintaining punctuality and a strong commitment to daily responsibilities
Requirements:
•Positive attitude and strong dedication to work
•Reliable, mature, and well-organised personality
•Focus on consistency, cleanliness, and quality service
•Ability to communicate in English and Bislama
•Interest in learning and preparing new dishes and cuisines
•Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate with staff
•Passionate and experienced cooks without formal qualifications are also encouraged to apply
Salary:
Salary package will be based on experience, performance, and work ethic.
