The college aims to train farmers and provide farming technologies and skills to boost agricultural production, contributing to Vanuatu's economic and social development.

Job Desctiption:

As Chief Executive Officer, you will report to the VAC Council, working collaboratively to fulfill the college's mandate. Your role involves driving the achievement of VAC's Vision, Mission, and Goals, ensuring adherence to governance standards, and building strong partnerships with stakeholders to secure sustainable success for the people and Government of Vanuatu.

Selection Criteria:

A Master's Degree or PhD, specializing in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or any related fields.
Specialization in Education Administration at the PSET level is highly recommended.
Over 13 years of experience managing highly demanding operations involving diverse Human Resources specializations.
Proven ability to work SMART, troubleshoot effectively in chaotic situations, and make hard decisions.
A knack for motivating and mentoring young people, helping them find their niche in today's economic environment.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, agile in handling digital tools, and adept at decision-making.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including good listening abilities and an approachable nature.
Honest, reliable, and highly skilled in academic and corporate development matters.
An excellent coach with the ability to inspire and lead a highly motivated team.
Fluent in English or French with excellent written and oral communication; proficiency in Bislama is an advantage.

Salary: DIR 3.1
