Description

Iririki Island Resort & Spa is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial operations of the resort, ensuring strong financial health and supporting the business’s long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial reporting, compliance, and accounting processes.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify improvement areas.
Implement and enhance financial controls and procedures.
Provide strategic recommendations to increase profitability.
Work closely with the F&B Director to manage costs, margins, and efficiency.
Plan and prioritize workloads to meet reporting deadlines.
Train and mentor team members to strengthen the finance department.
Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards for hotels and resorts.

Selection Criteria:
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Financial Controller in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance reporting.
Experience managing restaurant finances, including COGS, labor costs, and P&L analysis.
Proficiency with Xero, Excel, and financial management systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
