Job Desctiption:
The CPO will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, optimizing costs, fostering supplier relationships, and ensuring our organization remains competitive in the market. This is a critical leadership role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve performance excellence.
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Monitor market trends to mitigate risks and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Ensure compliance with all procurement regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
- Drive sustainability initiatives and promote responsible sourcing practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast procurement needs and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Analyze procurement data and present insights and recommendations to the executive team.
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related Business courses field
- Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar leadership role.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain dynamics, and market trends.
- Experience with procurement technology and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
