Forney Enterprise Pty Ltd operates as a well-established kava processing and export business located in Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. The company focuses on producing high-quality kava powder for global markets. Maintaining consistent quality standards is a key priority, and the company is recognized for delivering premium-grade products internationally.

Position Summary:
Forney Enterprise is currently looking for a skilled and reliable Construction Site Foreman to oversee construction operations for both ongoing and future projects in Santo.
This role requires a practical, hands-on leader who can manage daily site work, guide construction teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to required standards.

Type:
Fixed‑Term Contract (24 months) 40–45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Main Responsibilities:
•Oversee and manage day-to-day site activities
•Supervise workers and coordinate subcontractors
•Ensure all work meets safety standards and project specifications
•Track project progress and adjust tasks as needed
•Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment
•Perform routine safety inspections and ensure proper PPE use
•Keep records of site work and worker attendance
•Manage materials and basic purchasing through company systems
•Assist in completing current projects and support upcoming work

Requirements:
Construction Experience:
•Concrete and structural construction
•Masonry and framing work
•Steel installation and cladding
•Installation of doors, windows, ceilings, and finishing work
•Coordination with plumbing and drainage work
•Collaboration with electrical and HVAC teams

Skills & Qualifications:
•At least 4–6 years of construction experience, including supervisory roles
•Strong leadership and communication abilities
•Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
•Good knowledge of workplace safety practices
•Strong problem-solving skills on site
•Trade certification or construction-related training is an advantage
(Relevant experience may be accepted in place of formal qualifications)

Physical Requirements:
•Physically capable of working on construction sites
•Able to lift up to 15 kg and oversee manual work
