Organisation Description:
A major retail operation in Vanuatu, operating six fully stocked supermarkets, a substantial wholesale arm, and four ABM fuel stations across the country.
Job Description:
This role involves managing the company’s incoming payments, maintaining regular communication with customers about invoices and outstanding balances, issuing and recording invoices, tracking overdue accounts, and keeping financial records and internal systems up to date.
Selection Criteria:
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices
• Capable of producing monthly financial reports
• Able to handle pressure and consistently meet deadlines
• Works well within a team environment
• Can carry out tasks independently with little supervision
• Strong communication skills in both English and French
• Familiarity with computerized accounting software
• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
