Job Description
Iririki Island Resort & Spa is seeking suitable and reliable candidates with strong experience to fill the position of Driver.
Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, the Driver is responsible for safely operating the assigned vehicle and assisting with the collection, clearing, and disposal of rubbish around designated areas of the island. The role also includes performing additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager or Supervisor on duty.
This position plays an important part in maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff, while also supporting efficient operations across the resort. The Driver is expected to provide accurate information when responding to internal and external queries and contribute to maintaining a positive public image as part of our service standards.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Safe and responsible operation of assigned vehicles
•Collecting and disposing of rubbish around the island in designated areas
•Assisting with general operational tasks as directed by supervisors
•Proper care, cleaning, and routine maintenance of vehicles and equipment
•Managing supplies, completing basic reports, and ensuring accurate documentation
•Adhering to security and safety protocols at all times
•Following emergency procedures when required
•Performing general duties in support of daily resort operations
Selection Criteria
•The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
•Minimum 1 year of experience as a Driver with a valid driving license
•Ability to follow instructions accurately and work under supervision
•Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
•Good communication and interpersonal skills
•Awareness of safety and security procedures
•Ability to work as part of a team and assist with additional tasks as required
