Ifira Ports Development & Services (IPDS) Ltd. operates Lapetasi International Container Terminal (LICT) under a Public-Private Partnership with the Vanuatu Government. We provide stevedoring, container terminal activities, and transport services on Efate.

Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated Electrical/Hydraulic Technician with more than 10 years’ experience. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily inspections of heavy equipment electrical and hydraulic systems
Troubleshoot and repair faulty wiring, alarm systems, and lighting
Diagnose hydraulic system issues using various test methods and tools
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Provide technical guidance to operators on system usage

Selection Criteria

Over 10 years’ experience as an Electrical/Hydraulic Technician
Able to work odd hours, under pressure, and independently
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Efficient, trustworthy, and well-organized
