ELECTRICIAN (Electrical technician)

Job purpose:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team at Forney Enterprises, Luganville, As the Electrician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of  electrical systems within our facilities’

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Perform general electrical maintenance tasks.
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Assist the team in general maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship.
• Prior experience working as an electrician.
• High school leaving certificate
• Electrician qualifications from a technical college (preferable).
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair.
