We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our Maintenance Delivery Team based in Port Vila. This position is responsible for carrying out both scheduled preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across site operations.
The role will also involve periodic travel to Santo to perform the same duties. All flights and accommodation will be provided by Sustain FM360.

Key Responsibilities

•Performing planned preventative maintenance on electrical, fire, and security systems
•Attending reactive maintenance requests and rectifying electrical faults efficiently
•Ensuring all maintenance work is completed within required timeframes and quality standards
•Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities using the works management system
•Preparing cost estimates for reactive maintenance works
•Delivering minor electrical and facilities-related project works
•Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients and customers
•Working in alignment with zero-harm principles, health and safety standards, and environmental requirements

Requirements and Qualifications :

•Certificate I in Electrotechnology (or equivalent)
•Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including switchboards, generators, solar systems, appliances, control panels, earthing, lighting, monitoring, and power systems
•Basic understanding of fire and security systems, or willingness to learn
•Proven ability to manage both planned and reactive maintenance tasks effectively
•A strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
•Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
•Confidence to seek clarification or support when needed
•Broad facilities or engineering experience across a range of building assets, including maintenance and minor construction works
•High emotional intelligence with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
•Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills
•Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening
•Satisfactory Police Clearance
•Current and valid driver’s licence
