Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Employee Relations & Training Officer to join our Human Resources team. This role is designed for someone who enjoys fostering a positive workplace culture, developing talent, and supporting employees and managers to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities
•Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, offering guidance and support in line with company policies and employment laws.
•Assist with managing employee performance, disciplinary matters, and grievance processes in a professional and fair manner.
•Organize and deliver training programs, staff inductions, and compliance training for both new and current team members.
•Plan, coordinate, and monitor learning and development initiatives to enhance skills and operational efficiency.
•Maintain accurate records related to employee relations and training activities.
•Support performance management, coaching, and development programs for employees.
•Contribute to initiatives that improve employee engagement and cultivate an inclusive, positive workplace culture.
•Assist with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
Candidate Requirements
•Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Training, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
•Practical experience in employee relations, training, or generalist HR roles.
•Strong understanding of employment relations best practices and workplace legislation.
•Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
•Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage confidential matters with discretion.
•Experience in the hospitality industry or fast-paced environments is an advantage.
