The project focuses on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sectors in response to El Nino and other climate-related disasters. In the DRR component, the project targets Torba and aims to enhance the capacity of the Torba Provincial Emergency Operations Centre (PEOC), provide essential supplies, and raise community awareness and preparedness. The WASH activities cover Torba (five islands), aiming to improve water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities.

World Vision is now recruiting for 1X Development Manager and 2X Development Facilitators for our Disaster Risk Reduction Program. These roles will be based in Torba Province (Sola) with regular travel to World Vision’s Northern Area Program Office in Luganville and some travel to World Vision’s Country Programme Office in Port Vila.

The Development Manager will:

• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, manage project activities within the respective Province, including planning, implementation, monitoring,
• Do Reporting and some budgeting responsibilities, to ensure World Vision delivers high quality outcomes on time and within budget and in line with WV core values.
• Managing programme/project staff including capacity building, performance monitoring and day to day operational support.
• Work in partnership with Provincial stakeholders and communities to ensure that World Vision is delivering relevant and high-quality programmes in a sensitive and professional manner

An annual salary package of VT1,440,000 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.

The Development Facilitator will:

• Implementing project activities according to the project design with a focus on ensuring the community has a strong understanding of and plays a strong role in achieving program outcomes.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders such as community members, community leaders and church groups.
• Carry out ongoing monitoring of project activities and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.

An annual salary package of VT776,664 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
