About Us:

The Melanesian is a 3-star hotel just 5 minutes from town, offering guests two on-site restaurants, a casino, and a spa. With easy access to public transport, we provide a convenient stay for both business and leisure travelers.

Role:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. You will be responsible for maintaining high food standards, overseeing kitchen operations, and creating exceptional menus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consistently produce high-quality food
• Prepare meals for functions and events (up to 200 guests)
  Ensure compliance with food hygiene and quality standards
  Train and manage kitchen staff
  Oversee kitchen operations, including stock control, food safety plans, staff rosters, and cleanliness
  Design creative and appealing menus for our restaurants

Who We’re Looking For:

✔ Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head or Executive Chef
✔ Fluent in English
✔ Strong knowledge of food hygiene standards and kitchen management
✔ A team player who can lead and inspire the kitchen team
