Job Description – Executive Che
Warwick Le Lagon Resort is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations across the resort. This senior role is responsible for managing day-to-day kitchen operations, maintaining exceptional food quality, and delivering cost-effective, high-standard menus across all outlets and events.
Working closely with Human Resources and senior management, the Executive Chef will oversee recruitment, training, staffing levels, and performance of all kitchen teams.
Key Responsibilitie
•Provide strategic and operational leadership for all kitchens and food outlets in line with brand standards.
•Communicate daily goals, priorities, and operational updates to culinary management and kitchen teams.
•Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards, addressing issues proactively.
•Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and service execution across restaurants and banquets.
•Manage inventory control processes, including daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
•Review and approve purchasing requests, production plans, and market lists to control costs and reduce waste.
•Ensure kitchens are properly equipped, organized, and supplied to meet operational demands.
•Collaborate with the Chief Steward on equipment needs, banquet logistics, cleaning schedules, and compliance with health and safety standards.
•Maintain appropriate staffing levels, rosters, attendance monitoring, and performance reporting.
Candidate Requirements
•Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef in an international 5-star hotel environment.
•Strong expertise in managing multi-outlet kitchens and large-scale banquet operations.
•Proven ability in menu development, culinary leadership, and cost management.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong leadership, organizational, and team-management capabilities.
•Solid understanding of food costing, budgeting, inventory, and financial controls.
•Ability to analyze reports and perform basic financial and numerical assessments.
