Job Desctiption:
Our restaurant is seeking a passionate and skilled chef to produce delicious meals for our guests. You will be responsible for planning menus and overseeing kitchen staff to deliver meals of the highest standards.
You will need to be an excellent leader with great organisational skills and impeccable time management.
The position will require nights and weekends as rostered.
Selection Criteria:
Ensure all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
Planning menu within budget and keeping in mind seasonal availability.
Overseeing all kitchen operations.
Coordinating kitchen staff and assisting as required.
Training staff to prepare and cook all menu items.
Controlling stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish.
Enforcing safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
