Position Available: Food & Beverage Duty Manager
Iririki Island Resort & Spa is currently inviting applications for an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our team.
Working closely with the Food & Beverage Director, the selected candidate will play a key role in overseeing all food and beverage operations while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership, planning, and operational management skills to improve service quality, maximize revenue, and maintain staff engagement.
Key Responsibilities
•Supervise the daily operations of restaurants, bars, and conference/event facilities while ensuring service standards remain high and operational costs stay within budget.
•Deliver a consistent and exceptional guest experience by handling customer interactions professionally.
•Assist with menu planning, procurement of products, and ongoing improvements to food and beverage offerings.
•Develop and implement operational targets, schedules, policies, procedures, and performance goals (KPIs).
•Monitor food and beverage costs, staffing expenses, and budgeting through effective workforce planning.
•Prepare reports on sales performance, operational productivity, and financial outcomes.
•Increase business revenue through creative promotions, package enhancements, and upselling opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
•The ideal applicant should meet the following criteria:
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the hotel or resort sector.
Relevant qualification such as a culinary diploma, food service management degree, or similar field of study.
•Strong background in food and beverage management.
•Proficiency in MS Office and restaurant management systems, especially Room Master POS.
•Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
•Excellent communication abilities with practical leadership experience.
•Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and effectively delegate tasks.
•Sound financial knowledge, including budget management, forecasting, and profit/loss analysis.
•Customer-focused mindset with strong service standards.
•Prior exposure to integrated hotel operations will be considered an advantage.
Employment Details
