Job Title: Finance Manager Job Description
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall financial management of Ocean Logistics Ltd to ensure strong financial performance and full regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include: •Managing company budgets and financial planning processes •Preparing accurate financial reports and statements •Monitoring cash flow and maintaining financial stability •Controlling operational costs across tug and barge services •Managing payroll, taxation, VAT, and statutory obligations •Supporting internal and external audit processes •Ensuring accurate financial record keeping
The Finance Manager also provides strategic financial advice to senior management, contributes to forecasting and business planning, and collaborates closely with operational teams to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Selection Criteria •The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements: •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field •Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a senior finance position •Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA (preferred) •Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and cost control •Experience in logistics, marine, or shipping industries (highly desirable) •Sound knowledge of tax regulations, payroll systems, VAT, statutory compliance, and audit procedures •Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel •Strong leadership and team management skills •Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities •High level of analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail •Demonstrated integrity and ability to provide strategic financial guidance to support management decision-making
