Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take responsibility for the company’s financial operations and reporting functions. This role will oversee financial processes from cashier operations and product costing through to the preparation of audit-ready financial statements, including Profit & Loss reports, Balance Sheets, cash flow reports, and other financial documentation.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring business performance, supporting stock management, maintaining financial systems, and providing accurate insights to management and shareholders.
Key Responsibilities
•Manage and oversee the company’s financial activities, including cashier operations, product costing, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
•Prepare and maintain monthly financial reports, including P&L statements, Balance Sheets, cash flow reports, and other required XLSX-based financial documents.
Monitor and report on the performance of brand partners using clear and practical KPI tracking systems.
•Prepare monthly stock reports using relevant business systems and Excel-based reporting tools.
•Ensure established inventory control procedures are consistently followed throughout the business.
•Develop sales and salesperson performance worksheets using Excel and internal business systems.
•Design, implement, and maintain costing worksheets and financial procedures covering the full product lifecycle, from purchasing and stock acquisition through to sales.
•Work closely with the Operations Manager to improve coordination and ensure efficient business workflows.
•Act as the company’s Customs Compiler and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders.
•Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reports for the Managing Director and shareholders.
•Track and present key performance indicators, financial ratios, and other business performance metrics.
•Provide financial and administrative support to the Operations and HR Managers when required.
•Maintain strong professional relationships with brand partners, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
•Work independently while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Selection Criteria
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
•Strong experience working with financial and business software systems.
•The ability to analyse and interpret financial and operational data to support business decision-making.
•Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
Between 5 and 10 years of relevant experience in a similar finance or financial management role.
•Strong knowledge of financial reporting, costing, inventory control, and business performance analysis.
•The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with management and other departments.
