Role Overvie
The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations of the resort, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic support for business decisions. This role leads the finance team, drives financial planning, and provides insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
⦁ Manage all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
⦁ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to track trends, results, and projections.
⦁ Monitor cash flow, reconcile transactions, and review internal financial reports regularly.
⦁ Lead and supervise the finance team, including accountants and financial assistants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
⦁ Recommend improvements to accounting systems, processes, and procedures, including payroll and invoicing.
⦁ Ensure accurate recording, filing, and reporting of all financial transactions.
⦁ Implement financial controls and reporting systems that meet legal and regulatory requirements.
⦁ Coordinate with auditors to ensure full compliance with accounting standards and government regulations.
⦁ Develop and maintain budgets and long-term financial plans informed by analysis and research.
⦁ Identify opportunities to reduce costs and optimize financial performance.
⦁ Review financial data to detect discrepancies and implement systems to prevent errors.
Candidate Requirements
⦁ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
⦁ Minimum of three years’ experience managing a finance department in a hotel or resort environment.
⦁ Strong leadership skills, with experience motivating and developing finance teams.
⦁ Excellent organizational, analytical, and reporting abilities.
⦁ High attention to detail and accuracy in financial management.
⦁ Proficient in cash flow management, budget planning, and financial reporting.
⦁ Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to think strategically to solve problems.
