Job Description: Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Controller oversees the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, reporting directly to the Resort General Manager and the Regional Financial Controller (RFC). Primary responsibilities include financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, audits, and managing working capital. Key tasks involve:

• Maintaining accurate general ledger, receivables, payables, stock, and payroll systems.
• Preparing monthly financial statements, cash flows, and forecasts promptly.
• Developing and managing the annual budget.
• Ensuring robust internal controls, including cost and credit controls.
• Overseeing daily cash flow and working capital management.
• Supervising, developing, and upskilling the finance team.
• Preparing accurate annual statutory financial statements.
• Managing internal, external, and regulatory audits.
• Providing financial support for decision-making with integrity and leadership.
• Participating in ad-hoc projects as assigned by the RFC.

Selection Criteria: Our Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will possess the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar senior role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Strong competency in computerized financial systems.
