Job Description:
The Fleet Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance and overall operational condition of company vehicles, vessels, and equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring all fleet assets remain safe, reliable, and fully functional through effective maintenance planning and repair management.

Key duties include developing preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, leading maintenance personnel, managing maintenance-related budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational regulations. The role also involves maintaining accurate service records and reducing equipment downtime to support uninterrupted operations.

Selection Criteria:
• Qualification in mechanical, marine, automotive, engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in fleet, vessel, vehicle, or equipment maintenance management.
• Strong understanding of maintenance scheduling and preventive servicing.
• Experience handling maintenance costs, procurement, and spare parts inventory.
• Ability to supervise maintenance staff and external service providers.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Experience maintaining records and preparing maintenance reports.
• Effective communication and team leadership skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required; marine-related certifications are an advantage where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience with marine fleets, tugboats, or barge operations.
• Familiarity with transport and logistics systems.
• Experience using digital or computerized maintenance management systems.
