Position Overview:
Iririki Island Resort & Spa is currently inviting applications for an experienced Food & Beverage Duty Manager.
In this role, you will report directly to the Food & Beverage Director and work alongside a dedicated senior management team. You will oversee all aspects of F&B operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to plan, coordinate, and manage F&B orders, staffing, and financial targets. A strong focus on customer satisfaction and team engagement is essential, with the ultimate aim of increasing revenue and improving service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of all restaurants, bars, and conference facilities, ensuring they meet budget expectations and maintain high standards.
Maintain a high level of guest service, handling guest interactions with professionalism and consistency.
Create and refine menus, manage purchasing, and implement ongoing quality improvements.
Set performance targets, KPIs, staff schedules, and operational policies.
Monitor and control food and beverage costs, manage wage expenditure, and optimise rosters.
Prepare and present reports on sales performance and overall productivity.
Drive revenue growth through effective upselling and innovative F&B offerings.
Selection Criteria:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
At least five years of experience working within the hotel or resort sector
A culinary school qualification or a degree in food service management, hospitality, or a related discipline
A strong track record in food and beverage management
Proficiency with essential software, including MS Office and restaurant management systems (Room Master POS experience is highly preferred)
Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to act quickly and effectively
Excellent communication skills paired with a hands-on leadership approach
The ability to delegate tasks efficiently and manage multiple responsibilities at once
Solid financial understanding, including the ability to interpret P&L statements and manage budgets or forecasts
A guest-focused mindset and commitment to high service standards
Prior experience in an integrated hotel operation is considered an advantage
Salary:
Salary is negotiable and will be based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
