Job Desctiption:
The Receptionist is the primary contact for guests and people who telephone the resort. They are to liaise with guests, perform check in and check outs, answer the telephone, and look after guest requirements.

Tasks and Responsibilities
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests with a warm and friendly attitude; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of villas for check-in.
• Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
• Answer, record and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Follow up with the respective requests to insure they have been completed.
• Book guest activities and ensure charges are processed
• Follow up on the guest activity experience to ensure that taxis, restaurant recommendations and other events are suggested and booked to ensure the guest has a seamless experience.
• If on morning shift, create accurate daily manifest (number of arrivals, departures, excursion including any special requests) and ensure distribution to GM by 15:00hrs daily.
• Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit, inclusive of restaurant payment.
• Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges and ensure luggage collection 20 minutes before check out.
• Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
• Count cash float at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to accounting procedure.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries to Management.
• Communicate using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position in a 4* or 5* hotel
• Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written). Fluency in another foreign language such as French is an advantage.
• Experienced in using Room Master Property Management System and Front Office procedures/cashiering.
• Proficient with computers
• Proven track of delighting customer or up-selling. Honest and caring.
• Highly motivated and passionate about providing great customer service
