Renowned for our quality service, stunning views, and relaxed island atmosphere, we proudly serve international tourists, corporate travellers, and local guests. We are now seeking a talented and motivated Head Chef to lead our kitchen team
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced, creative, and dependable Head Chef to oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, developing menus that showcase fresh local ingredients, and maintaining exceptional food standards—all while contributing to a vibrant and welcoming island environment.
Key Responsibilities
•Plan, cost, and execute menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
•Prepare high-quality dishes with consistency, flavour balance, and strong attention to presentation
•Lead and manage kitchen staff, including rostering, supervision, and training
•Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen
•Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering, stock rotation, and cost control
•Collaborate with management to develop menu concepts, seasonal specials, and event catering menus
•Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen environment
Requirements
•Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef
•Strong skills in menu planning, costing, and high-standard food preparation
•Experience working with seafood, grill items, and international cuisine
•Ability to operate efficiently in a small yet fast-paced kitchen
•Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
•Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices
•Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure during peak service times
•Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
