Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Head Waiter / Restaurant Manager to oversee restaurant operations, lead service teams, and maintain high hospitality standards. The role is divided into two stages, beginning with Head Waiter responsibilities and progressing into Restaurant Management after demonstrating strong leadership and operational independence.

Stage 1: Head Waiter Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front-of-house operations and ensuring smooth daily service, including:

•Supervising restaurant floor staff, including waiters, waitresses, runners, and busboys, to ensure efficient teamwork during service hours.
•Managing reservations and seating arrangements to maximize guest flow while coordinating with kitchen timing to reduce waiting periods.
•Ensuring hotel guests with meal packages are accommodated and informed of dining schedules.
•Assisting customers with food and beverage selections, including explaining wine options (training and product knowledge will be provided).
•Handling customer dietary needs and special food requirements professionally.
•Preparing weekly staff schedules according to bookings, seasonal demand, and upcoming events.
•Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards across dining areas, bars, and surrounding spaces.
•Monitoring and ordering dining-related stock, including beverages, utensils, and service supplies.
•Sending daily operational reports to management covering service performance, food quality, and customer feedback.
•Ensuring staff maintain proper grooming and wear clean uniforms at all times.

Stage 2: Restaurant Manager Responsibilities
After successfully training a replacement and proving independence in the Head Waiter role, the candidate will transition into Restaurant Manager duties, including:

•Managing recruitment, staff training, scheduling, and overall team coordination.
•Overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, inventory management, supplier communication, and customer service quality.
•Hiring staff according to business requirements while promoting a productive team environment and complying with local labor regulations.
•Developing full knowledge of menu preparation and restaurant recipes.
•Managing kitchen stock, food costs, and product turnover to maintain profitability.
•Conducting quality checks on all food products, particularly meat standards set by ownership.
•Building technical awareness of restaurant systems, including plumbing, electrical maintenance, and kitchen operations.
•Applying public health and hygiene standards throughout restaurant operations.
•Supervising department leaders, including head waiters, chefs, and restaurant staff.
•Training and mentoring team members to independently handle key operational roles.

Requirements
•Minimum 10 years of experience as a Head Waiter is required.
•Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager is highly preferred.
•Strong leadership, communication, and hospitality management skills.
•References and professional certificates must be provided.
