About the Role We’re seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Manager to lead and manage our HR team, drive culture and employee engagement, and ensure the effective delivery of all HR functions across the resort.
Key Responsibilities Prepare employment contracts and onboarding materials. Lead recruitment, inductions, and personnel file management. Oversee HR team and functions: Security, Compliance, OH&S, Training & Labor Relations. Implement Warwick HR best practices and ensure consistent application. Coordinate employee rewards, recognition, and engagement programs. Conduct inductions, compliance training, and maintain training records. Represent the hotel at industrial hearings and investigations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions and specifications. Handle job advertising, interviews, reference checks, and screening. Forecast staffing needs and support budget planning for HR operations. Foster positive relationships across all departments. Support departmental leaders with HR processes. Step in to support other resort areas as needed. Uphold all health, safety, fire, hygiene, and cyclone procedures.
Ideal Candidate: Tertiary qualification in HR or related field (preferred, not essential). At least 5 years’ experience in a similar HR role. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Friendly, approachable, and detail-oriented. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Hotel HR experience is highly desirable.
