Description

Warwick Le Lagon – Vanuatu, a 4.5-star luxury family-friendly resort, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations, support the resort’s staffing needs, and promote a positive, engaged workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare employment contracts and induction packs for new hires.

Oversee recruitment and induction processes to meet staffing requirements.

Manage and maintain accurate employee documentation and personnel files.

Lead the HR team, including Security, Compliance, OH&S, Labor Relations, and Training & Development.

Implement HR best practices aligned with Warwick Hotels’ vision and values.

Represent the resort in industrial hearings and investigations.

Develop and manage HR projects to improve services for managers and employees.

Coordinate employee rewards, benefits, and recognition programs.

Drive engagement initiatives such as recruitment days, employee celebrations, and training events.

Maintain current job descriptions and position specifications for all roles.

Conduct interviews, reference checks, and compliance training.

Prepare personnel forecasts and manage budgets for HR operations.

Provide operational support across all HR functions and step in when needed.

Ensure compliance with fire, health, hygiene, cyclone, and safety procedures.

Selection Criteria:

Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR, preferably in hospitality.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational, leadership, and time management abilities.

Outgoing personality with attention to detail.

Ability to build strong internal and external working relationships.
