Organisation Description:
The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) was established under the Vanuatu National Provident Fund Act [CAP 189] to provide financial security for workers throughout their employment and into retirement.

Job Description:
The ICT Operations Officer is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the VNPF ICT environment, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all systems, networks, and ICT services. The role includes user support, infrastructure maintenance, systems monitoring, and ensuring compliance with ICT policies and standards.

Selection Criteria:
Qualifications / Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

1. ICT Infrastructure & Systems Management
Ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and performance of servers, networks, storage, and core ICT systems.
2. User Support & Helpdesk Service
Provide timely and effective technical support to staff, ensuring minimal disruptions and high user satisfaction.
3. ICT Security & Data Protection
Implement security protocols, backups, and risk-mitigation measures to safeguard VNPF systems and information.
4. Network Connectivity & Performanc
Monitor, maintain, and optimize network connectivity for headquarters, branches, and remote sites, ensuring stable and secure communication.
5. ICT Assets & Documentation Management
Maintain accurate ICT asset registers, software licenses, and system documentation to support operations, audits, and planning.
