Position: Boutique Manager – Cheese, Charcuterie & Caf
About the Role:
On behalf of PROVEDORE FINE FOODS LTD, we are looking for a motivated Manager to take charge of a specialty shop focusing on cheese, charcuterie, and café services. The role is centered on ensuring excellent customer experience and smooth daily operations.
Main Responsibilities:
•Manage the day-to-day running of the boutique and ensure all operations function efficiently
•Maintain attractive product displays for items such as cheeses, cured meats, coffee, and related gourmet products
•Oversee stock levels, inventory control, and timely replenishment of goods
•Improve store layout and presentation to enhance customer satisfaction
•Greet customers, provide guidance, and help them choose suitable products
•Build customer loyalty through high-quality service and personalized attention
•Lead, supervise, and train sales staff in product knowledge and selling techniques
•Prepare staff schedules and allocate tasks within the team
•Support marketing initiatives to promote store offerings
•Organize tasting events, workshops, and promotional activities
•Manage social media updates and communication related to store activities
•Track sales performance and prepare operational reports
•Handle cash management, including register operations and bank deposits
•Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety regulations
Candidate Profile:
•A degree in Commerce or a related field is required
•Strong familiarity with French gastronomy, especially cheese and charcuterie, is essential
•Ability to communicate fluently in French for coordination with suppliers
•Solid knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
