As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and communications efforts, enhance our brand visibility in Vanuatu, and ensure a consistent, high-quality visual identity across all channels.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Marketing Manager will plan, develop, and execute all marketing, communication, and graphic design initiatives for Sharper Image in Vanuatu. This role combines strategic planning, creative design, and hands-on execution. The successful candidate will adapt global marketing strategies to the local market, strengthen brand presence, support sales teams, and engage effectively with the Vanuatu community.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Sharper Image’s marketing and communications strategy tailored to the Vanuatu market.
Increase brand visibility through campaigns, social media, advertising, and local events.
Design marketing and promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, signage, catalogues, and social media content.
Produce high-quality visual content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent software.
Manage the company’s online presence, including website updates, social media accounts, and digital campaigns.
Coordinate in-store and corporate promotions in collaboration with sales and retail teams.
Support sponsorships, community initiatives, and partnerships that align with company values.
Maintain brand consistency and ensure quality across all print and digital materials.
Monitor marketing activities, measure their impact, and report results to management.
Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will:
Have proven experience in marketing, communications, or graphic design (experience in the Pacific region is an advantage).
Be creative, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Possess strong graphic design skills and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent software.
Understand the Vanuatu market and adapt marketing messages effectively for local audiences.
Have experience in digital marketing and social media management.
Communicate clearly in English (knowledge of French or Bislama is a plus).
Be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.
Demonstrate professionalism with strong attention to detail and brand consistency.
