Position Description
VSPD is seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to lead and oversee administrative, IT, financial, and facilities management functions. This is a Senior Management role responsible for smooth internal operations and supporting our mission-driven programs.

Key Responsibilities
Asset & IT Management:

Maintain VSPD’s assets: vehicles, land, buildings, and equipment.
Oversee internal IT (computers, phones, software licenses).
Liaise with IT contractors for external solutions.

Administration:
Act as the main point of contact for VSPD (email, post, reception).
Manage office supplies and resources.
Oversee bookings and income for the conference facility.
Coordinate VSPD’s use of radio and print media.
Support proposal writing with Executive Director and Program Manager.

Staff & Stakeholder Management:
Supervise: Finance Officer, Driver, Cleaner.
Collaborate with: Executive Director, Program Manager, team members.
Engage with: Government agencies, NGOs, clients, and community stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications or experience in business/human resources management.
Financial experience and Xero Accounting Software proficiency.
Staff management experience and understanding of community development/aid programs.
Willingness to travel across Vanuatu.
Good judgment, discretion, and adaptability in a leadership role.
