Tuff Boats manufactures custom fibreglass boats designed specifically to withstand Vanuatu’s challenging marine conditions. Produced at our Vila Marine facility, our boats are crafted from high-quality materials and tested for durability and performance. We offer 6-metre and 7-metre models with a variety of optional extras, including solar electrics, fishing equipment, and safety features to meet customer needs.

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Operations / Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for ensuring smooth production, maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing output, and ensuring timely delivery of all boats. The ideal candidate will focus on efficiency, cost management, and continuous improvement of production processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, coordinate, and manage day-to-day production activities to meet customer expectations and company goals.
•Maximize production output and operational flexibility while controlling costs and maintaining quality standards.
•Monitor product quality and ensure boats are completed on time for delivery.
•Implement improvements to processes, resources, and workflows to enhance efficiency and performance.
•Coordinate with teams to ensure production schedules are met and materials are available when needed.

Candidate Requirement
•5–10 years of experience in a production or operations management role.
•Basic math skills required; advanced math or technical skills preferred.
•Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Xero accounting software.
•Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to lead a team and drive operational performance.
