Description:
Vila Marine, the leading supplier of outboards, boats, and marine accessories in Vanuatu, is seeking an experienced Outboard Rigging Technician. The role involves rigging large four-stroke engines (60HP–400HP), rewiring boats, and performing water tests. Applicants must have strong marine systems knowledge and solid technical skills.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience rigging large outboard engines (Mercury preferred)
Strong understanding of marine wiring and systems
Ability to work independently on engine rigging and rewiring
Experience towing and launching large vessels for testing
Familiarity with Mercury G3 diagnostic software (advantageous)
Reliable work ethic and ability to follow instructions
