Paint Sales Officer

Position Overview
Alubat trading as Trade & Farm Vanuatu is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Paint Sales Officer to join its team. This role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, supporting paint sales operations, and ensuring the paint department meets performance and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and organize the paint sales counter and surrounding display areas on a daily basis
•Provide professional advice on paint products, colour selection, and application suitability
•Perform accurate colour matching and tinting based on project requirements, surface type, primers, lighting, and

  desired finish
•Support the Store Manager by ensuring the paint department meets weekly sales and operational targets
•Deliver high-quality customer service in line with company sales procedures and mystery shopper benchmarks
•Stay informed about current promotions, pricing, and marketing campaigns
•Maintain merchandising standards, cleanliness, and overall store presentation
•Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing new inventory and back-of-house storage areas

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

•Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a paint retail environment, including colour matching
•Background in sales or marketing is required
•Strong customer service orientation with a focus on satisfaction and results
•Ability to work effectively as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills
•Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and effective multitasking ability
•Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and outside standard business hours
