Job Description
The Payroll Officer will manage and maintain the company’s payroll operations, including tracking employee work hours, processing compensation using payroll software, responding to employee inquiries regarding wages, benefits, and deductions, and ensuring the payroll database remains accurate and up to date.
Selection Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Payroll Officer
Proficient in payroll software
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Vanuatu Workers’ Statutory Monetary Benefits
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Competent in preparing reconciliation reports
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented, task-focused, and highly organized
Salary
Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications
