Job Description:
Healthcare Pharmacy & Dispensary Centre Ltd. is looking for a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective distribution of medications while maintaining high professional standards in pharmacy practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and dispense prescription medicines accurately while ensuring patient safety and medication correctness.
• Offer professional advice to patients on medicine usage, dosage, side effects, and general health-related concerns.
• Work closely with medical practitioners and healthcare professionals to support suitable treatment plans and pharmaceutical care.
• Oversee pharmacy daily operations, including stock management, ordering medications, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, ethical practices, and pharmacy standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure smooth, efficient service delivery within the pharmacy.
Selection Criteria / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or College Degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in a retail or community pharmacy environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Valid Pharmacist Registration or Professional License.
• Physically fit and capable of performing pharmacy-related duties.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong understanding of prescription dispensing and medication safety.
• Ability to educate patients on medicine use and healthcare guidance.
• Knowledge of generic medicine substitution and pharmaceutical recommendations.
• Capability to advise doctors and healthcare professionals on medication-related matters.
• Good understanding of pharmacy management, patient care, and medicine administration.
