Ramada Resort by Wyndham is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Buggy / Porter Driver to join our Front Office team. This role plays an important part in creating a positive first impression by delivering warm, professional service to all guests.
Role Overview
The Buggy / Porter Driver is responsible for welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, supporting room service operations when required, and safely operating resort vehicles. The successful candidate will ensure all guest interactions reflect the highest standards of hospitality while maintaining clean and organised lobby and driveway areas.
Key Responsibilitie
•Greet guests on arrival and provide a friendly, professional welcome
•Assist guests with luggage during check-in, check-out, and transfers
•Label and manage luggage carefully, returning identification tags to guests
•Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features and resort facilities
•Deliver guest items such as messages, parcels, flowers, and room service orders
•Support Front Office staff during peak times and staff breaks
•Operate company vehicles safely for guest transport, shopping runs, and administrative errands
•Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and adequately fuelled
•Keep lobby, entrance, and driveway areas clean and presentable at all times
•Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues to the Front Office Manager
•Carry out additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements & Skills
•Valid driver’s licence
•Ability to communicate in English and/or French
•Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
•Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
•Reliable, courteous, and well-presented
