Role Overview
Vanuatu Unlocked Ltd is seeking an experienced and organized Project Manager to oversee and coordinate projects from planning through completion. This role focuses on managing timelines, people, and resources to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and in line with expected outcomes. The Project Manager will act as the central coordinator for all project-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
•Create and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements
•Lead and coordinate project teams, encouraging collaboration and clear communication
•Track project budgets and ensure effective use of financial and operational resources
•Identify project risks and implement practical solutions to reduce potential impacts
•Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, providing progress updates and resolving issues
•Ensure project outcomes meet quality standards, organizational objectives, and stakeholder expectations
•Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting records
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in management, business, project management, or a related discipline. Project management certifications (PMP or PRINCE2) are an advantage
•Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing projects from start to finish
•Technical Skills: Strong ability to use project management tools and software; proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting or business systems such as Sage, MYOB, or Xero
•Leadership & Communication: Proven leadership abilities with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
•Professional Attributes: High level of integrity, reliability, discretion, and the ability to work independently while effectively delegating tasks
•Adaptability: Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills with the ability to adjust plans when circumstances change
Language: Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written)
