Forney Enterprise Pty Ltd operates as a Kava processing and export business located in Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. We supply high-grade Kava powder products to overseas markets and are recognised for our focus on product quality, consistency, and reliable global distribution.

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Purchasing / Procurement Officer to become part of our supply chain team. This position works closely with Production, Operations, Finance, and Warehouse teams to ensure materials and supplies are sourced efficiently, delivered on time, and obtained at optimal cost.

In this role, you will manage the full procurement workflow, including supplier sourcing, price negotiations, purchase order management, shipment tracking, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery into production and storage.

Key Responsibilities
•Oversee the complete purchasing process from request through to receipt
•Identify, assess, and onboard reliable suppliers based on quality and value
•Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements
•Create, manage, and maintain accurate purchase order documentation
•Monitor deliveries and coordinate handover to logistics and warehouse teams
•Work closely with production, operations, finance, and inventory teams
•Track stock levels and assist with demand planning and forecasting
•Address supply disruptions and maintain strong supplier relationships
•Support improvements in procurement systems and processes

Candidate Requirements
•Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
•Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships
•Comfortable working in a fast-moving operational environment
•Excellent communication, planning, and organisational abilities
•High level of accuracy and attention to detail
