Role Summary
Reporting to the General Manager, the Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the housekeeping and laundry departments. The successful candidate will lead a team committed to upholding IHG's quality and service standards, ensuring guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and unforgettable stay.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations
Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards
Supervise and train housekeeping staff
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Coordinate with other departments for efficient service delivery
Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and guest satisfaction+
Candidate Requirements
Diploma in Business Management or a related field
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in housekeeping/laundry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Previous experience in a hotel environment of similar size preferred
Fluent in Bislama or another local language; additional languages are a plus
