Position: Sales & Reservations Manager
A leading island resort is looking for a proactive and experienced Sales & Reservations Manager to oversee reservation operations, enhance booking performance, and contribute to revenue growth. The successful candidate will lead the reservations team while ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities
•Supervise the daily activities of the reservations department and provide effective team leadership.
•Manage all accommodation bookings with accuracy and efficiency.
•Handle guest inquiries and reservation requests in a professional and timely manner.
•Track room availability, occupancy rates, and booking patterns to maximize revenue opportunities.
•Prepare regular reservation statistics, occupancy forecasts, and management reports.
•Work closely with the Front Office, Sales, and other operational teams to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
•Build and maintain productive relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, and corporate partners.
•Assist in developing and implementing sales initiatives designed to increase occupancy and overall revenue.
•Coach, train, and motivate reservation staff to achieve high performance and excellent service standards.
•Ensure compliance with company procedures, reservation policies, and operational guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
•At least two years of management experience in hotel or resort reservations, sales, or a similar hospitality role.
•Practical knowledge of hotel reservation software; familiarity with Room Master is considered an advantage.
•Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
•Previous experience in hospitality sales or marketing will be viewed favorably.
•Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
•Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
•Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and creating positive guest experiences.
