Job Description:
The Security Officer ensures the safety and security of the store, employees, customers, and assets during business hours. Responsibilities include maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring surveillance systems, conducting routine inspections, responding promptly to incidents, and collaborating with management to maintain a safe shopping environment.
Selection Criteria:
Previous experience in a security role, preferably in retail or customer-facing environments.
Knowledge of security procedures, surveillance equipment, and emergency response protocols.
Strong observational skills and ability to identify suspicious behavior.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit and able to respond quickly to emergencies.
Familiarity with Vanuatu laws and regulations related to security (desirable).
Valid security license or certification (desirable).
