Organisation Overview:

One of Vanuatu’s top retail chains, operating six fully stocked supermarkets, a major wholesale outlet, and four ABM fuel stations, serving customers across multiple locations.

Position Summary:

This role focuses on safeguarding the store’s premises, staff, customers, and property throughout operating hours. The Security Officer will maintain an active presence on-site, oversee CCTV and monitoring systems, carry out regular checks, and handle any incidents efficiently. The position works closely with store management to uphold a secure and comfortable shopping environment for everyone.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience in security, preferably within retail or customer-oriented settings.

Understanding of security protocols, monitoring tools, and emergency procedures.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect unusual or suspicious activity.

Capable of working alone or collaboratively with a team.

Good communication and people skills.

Physically capable of standing for long periods and reacting swiftly to emergency situations.

Familiarity with Vanuatu’s security-related laws and guidelines is an advantage.

A current security certification or license is considered beneficial.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
